The chest is painted in shades of crimson, teal and cucumber to compliment the image with champagne coloured edging.

The drawer interiors are painted in a vibrant shocking pink.

To finish it off the chest has beautiful facetted crystal knobs.

The top, doors and drawer fronts have been decoupaged in a Chinoiserie style paper featuring birds and blossom which has been aged and protected with 8 coats of clear varnish. The interior has the original decoupage with Chinese characters. The original ‘fish’ lock still works. The unit has holes cut in the back to accommodate media.
